Four Thursdays, October 6, 13, 20, and 27 @ 3:30 – 5 pm. Let’s learn about the beauty of nature! During this four-week practical class for 7-11 year-old kids, our Junior Gardeners will take part in different traditional crafts that center around plants. The kids will learn about natural dyes, medicinal herbs, kokedama, and the art of macrame. They will have the opportunity to learn a little bit more about these traditional crafts and the cultures they come from. We will explore the garden to see the plethora of plants that have so many versatile uses. Each session involves activities in the garden and a fun take-home project. Expect to get your hands dirty! Fee: $80 Member / $100 Non-Member
