We’re proud to present “Legacy & Unity: Black History Celebration”, a vibrant outdoor festival honoring African American achievements and heritage in the heart of Downtown Long Beach. This free community event will take place on 2.14.26 at The Promenade (near Ross), offering a day full of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, Black-owned businesses, wellness resources, and cultural exhibits. Whether you’re enjoying live music, learning about local African American pioneers, shopping from incredible vendors, or participating in our engaging activities, there’s something for everyone!

Movement & Music taught through the use of imagination and play. Expert dance educator Lisa Karen Cohen, who has been specializing in children's dance, music and arts education for over 40 years teaches this fun class. Little ones have the options of dressing up in the movement theme of the day while exploring things like being a butterfly, opening and closing their bodies like flowers, painting a rainbow, and jumping over pretend rivers.
