In this exciting, hands-on camp, students will step into the courtroom as attorneys and witnesses, role-playing real court cases in a team-based mock trial competition. They will learn how to build arguments, question witnesses, and think critically under pressure—all while developing public speaking, analytical, and teamwork skills. They will also explore responsible AI use for legal research, case analysis, and organizing trial strategies.
How it Applies to the Real World: This helps campers think critically under pressure—all while developing public speaking, analytical, and teamwork skills. It can also expose them to law-related careers.
Deliverable: At the end of the camp students will participate in a in class showcase where they will receive feedback and a certificate of completion to illustrate their learning.
Prerequisite: None
Recommended Next Steps: Additional Confident Communicator Camps, Rising Debater Camps or Art of Public Speaking Class
