Confident Communicator: Spontaneous Argumentation (6th-8th)

In this dynamic camp, students will learn to craft constructive arguments and debate with limited preparation, using AI responsibly to brainstorm and expand their perspectives. Campers will develop critical thinking, adaptability, and confident communication skills. The camp wraps up with a student showcase and a certificate of completion.

In this dynamic camp, campers will learn to create constructive arguments and debate in front of an audience with limited preparation. They will also learn to use AI responsibly to brainstorm argumentation and broaden their frame of reference on a given topic.

How it Applies to the Real World: Campers will gain critical thinking, quick thinking, adaptability, and confidence, as well as improve their ability to organize their thoughts into coherent communication.

Deliverable: At the end of the camp, students will participate in an in-class showcase where they will receive feedback and a certificate of completion to illustrate their learning.
