Something to Crow About - Bob Baker's Marionette Theater
Something to Crow About is the ORIGINAL Bob Baker Spectacular, originating in 1959 when the theater was just a glint in Bob Baker’s eye. Enter through our red barn doors to delight in this historic and revitalized show—the scope of a Broadway musical plus the Wonderland touch of Hollywood. Welcome to Something to Crow About!
Meet Miss Clarissa, a glamorous hen who has retired from the theater. Instead of enjoying her golden years, to her chagrin, she is now laying eggs on a farm instead of Broadway. Her “faithful retainers,” Mama and Papa Goat, as well as a whole cast of farm friends from Pierre Rabbit to Scare Crow to Petunia and her Onion chorus and so many more, prove that Clarissa may accept her social security checks with aplomb; secure in the thought that “Broadway is not all that glitters.”
Something to Crow About is both a satirical comedy and a fantastic world of make-believe. Join us for a day on the farm with a whole host of marionettes who can’t wait to meet you!
