World Ocean Day - Santa Barbara Zoo

Celebrate World Ocean Day with us! Leading scientists worldwide have determined that a healthy ocean is a critical part of the solution to the climate and biodiversity crises. This year's event focuses on protecting 30% of the earth's waterways, lands, and oceans by 2030 to maintain healthy oceans with abundant wildlife and stabilize the climate. At the Zoo, we will focus on snowy plovers, otters, and penguins with keeper talks, animal encounters, and ocean-related activities.
