Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival

For many, the concept of a Shakespeare festival or company, is limited to producing pieces of one particular playwright or from a particular period of time. We are dedicated to the spirit of Shakespeare, who, as a theatre artist, engaged all strata of a community, from the groundlings to nobility, boldly reinterpreting classic stories, including humor for the everyman, allusions for the learned, and an insight to character that binds us all in our indelible commonality. The Santa Clarita Shakespeare is dedicated to presenting work that touches us as a community and speaks to who we are. We are dedicated, through our educational outreach programs, to reinterpreting classic stories folklore and tales that illustrate a common thread through our diversities. We are dedicated to engaging all aspects in our community through theatre and the arts, to create positive changes in our community.
