Wild Rivers Waterpark, Southern California’s premier waterpark in the heart of Irvine, kicks off its Summer season each year in mid-May. In partnership with Once Upon an Island, Wild Rivers introduced Mermaid Cove in 2025 - an all-new immersive mermaid makeover and retail experience that brings fantasy to life. Mermaid Cove brings braiding, glitter tattoos, shimmer freckles, photo ops in a giant clamshell throne, swimmable tails, glam kits, and more — all in a walk-up, open-air grotto designed by one of OC’s most buzzed-about experience brands. Mermaid Splash Packages and private Mermaid Birthday Parties are also available.
