Acting Academy for Kids (AA4K) provides kids and teens a way to experience the performing arts in a fun and engaging way led by professionally trained educators in their respective fields. As credentialed and professional educators with Master's Degrees in Education, the founders, Stephen & Maggie Zygo, envisioned a dynamic learning environment where families could bring their kids to make new friends, grow new skills, and walk away with a new sense of confidence. Over the past ten years, Acting Academy for Kids has done just that! With over 15,000 Orange County students that have made AA4K their home to grow as performing artists, founders Stephen & Maggie are beyond grateful for their amazing team of leaders, generous families and inspiring students!

A professional environment for children and young adults to learn theater arts and performance. Rehearsal schedule is typically two weeknights from 6:30 – 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am – 4:00pm, with a lunch break.
We offer a variety of programs, both online and in our theatre, including two-act productions, one-act musicals, workshops, Summer camps and classes. In January, 2016 we held our first annual Children Achieving Theatre Excellence (C.A.T.E.) Awards to recognize the achievements of our students.

Improv for Teens is an 8-week workshop for ages 13-17, culminating in a student showcase performance. ImprovCity also offers improv training classes for adults.
