The Cal Poly Pomona Robotics camp has evolved its curriculum to use the most popular robotics learning system in the world, VEX Robotics. VEXcode gives the campers the flexibility to program using Block coding (Object Oriented programming) or actual C++ and Python programming languages. Beginners become comfortable using Block code while more advanced camp participants can opt for text coding, pushing campers at any level to learn programming. VEXcode requires a stronger understanding of math and logic than the traditional Lego education software used in the past. With VEX robotics, students will learn to command robot behavior, advanced programming and subroutine capabilities. ![]() |
